In 2004, I received a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Guilan. I then completed a Master’s in psychology at the University of Shahid Beheshti in my home country Iran. In 2014 I received my PhD in psychology from KU Leuven. Afterward, I started working as a posdtocral research fellow at the laboratory of research on neuropsychophysiology of pain at the University of Montreal (department of Neuroscience).
